Europe’s premier online video specialist StreamAMG, has announced a new deal with Derby County Football Club to provide its online video services.

StreamAMG will power all Video On Demand (VOD) and live delivery for The Rams through its award winning OVP Stream Media Platform (StreamMP), as well as enabling the distribution of live match content to overseas fans of the club.

The announcement comes at an exciting time for football in the United Kingdom, with the end of the decade’s long FLi central website, video and audio delivery deal.

Clubs are now free to take back control of their digital inventory and regain commercial control of websites, WebTV services, apps and more.

Derby County have taken this opportunity to launch a brand new bespoke website to enable greater commercial opportunities and push towards the clubs goals, and have chosen StreamAMG to facilitate the clubs progress in online video.

StreamAMG is working with the vast majority of leaver clubs, utilising our market leading knowledge, video platforms, payment platforms and services to facilitate clubs bespoke needs, commercial goals and deliverables for clubs.

StreamMP allows clubs to engage with fans and sponsors alike, whilst also gaining the ability to interrogate user behaviour and make educated content decisions using the platform’s real time analytics reporting system.

All of this alongside fully customisable players and content monetisation options, ensures that clubs are able to make the most out of the opportunities that online video provides.

“We are delighted to partner with StreamAMG who are helping us to deliver RamsTV via our new digital platform,” said Brandon Furse, Director of Stadium Operations at Derby County

“Through the combination of our new digital platform and using the portfolio of services offered by StreamAMG, we can now engage with our supporters and sponsors and on a level never before attainable.

“Not only will RamsTV be giving supporters viewing access to a far greater depth within the club, but from the start of the 2017/18 season we will now stream our matches live overseas.

“Having control over our content and the ability to better monetise it, plus the ability to showcase our products and services is critical to our development.”
