Head of Education & Welfare - Ipswich Town FC Academy

The Academy are now recruiting for the position of Head of Education and Welfare, with the successful candidate being responsible for all non football education and welfare matters at the Academy at Ipswich Town Football Club with specific responsibility to the Academy Manager.
The Head of Education and Welfare (full-time) shall be a qualified teacher who has taught at a secondary school or college of further education.
In particular, the successful candidate will: -
- Manage the education programme 16-18 years i.e. The Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (ASE) Programme.
- Oversee the management of support for and liaise with, schools of recruited players 9-16 years
- Take responsibility for the welfare of all players at the Football Academy in accordance with the Children’s Act
The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team whilst being self-motivated and able to manage own workload.
