Football Federation Australia (FFA) announce partnership with 21st Club, a leading international football-management software developer and consultancy business.

21st Club will support all 10 Hyundai A-League clubs in the management of their salary cap requirements and provide support in strategic squad planning. The FFA’s appointment of 21st Club was supported unanimously by the clubs.

The partnership will see 21st Club adapt Evolution – their platform that helps clubs manage their player costs, strategically plan the player pipeline and analyse the impact of future scenarios, in addition to rationalising processes across the clubs – to better support the league to monitor compliance with regulations.

The Head of Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League, Greg O’Rourke, is looking forward to having one common platform introduced for both the FFA and the clubs when it comes to squad payments and future planning.

“I am excited about the prospect of working with 21st Club. They are a global organisation and proven best practice operators in this area of football,” said O’Rourke. “We are looking forward to reaping the rewards of our collaboration for the benefit of the clubs and the league as a whole.”

Marcus Seaton, Head of Business Development at 21st Club is equally excited about the new partnership with FFA and the Hyundai A-League clubs, adding: “We are delighted to be working with the Hyundai A-League. Our strategic approach philosophically aligns with the objectives of the Hyundai A-League and we are excited about the positive contribution we will make to the development of this exciting league.”
