Fletcher and Jackson to Present Grass Roots Football Show

Darren Fletcher and Charlotte Jackson headline an array of presenter talent being lined up for the 2011 brmb Grass Roots Football Show.
Fletcher, a leading BBC Radio 5 football commentator and co-presenter of iconic football phone-in Six 0 Six, and Sky Sports News presenter Jackson have both been signed up for the three-day event at the NEC, Birmingham.
The duo will play a key hole in interviewing the Show's coaching talent of leading managers, coaches and players and facilitating a series of seminars, forums and clinics.
Fletcher will also be joining forces with event ambassador Robbie Savage to host a very special Grass Roots football 606 forum from the NEC when questions will be asked by the audience in the main arena.
Event organiser Joanna Burns said: "We have assembled an extremely talented line-up of coaches and managers.
"What is equally important is the way in which the lessons are communicated to the audience.
"In Darren and Charlotte, we have two of British sports broadcasting's fastest rising stars who are able to understand and resonate with the grass roots audience."
Fletcher said: "I'm delighted to be part of the Show. I played for many years for local parks teams in Nottingham on Sunday mornings and have only recently been forced to hang up my boots.
"I love grass roots football and everything that it stands for. There's no better feeling than pulling on your boots for 90 minutes in the wind and rain on a Sunday morning with your mates.
"Many will know that I have the dubious privilege of co-hosting the BBC football phone in 606 with Robbie Savage. Our Grass Roots special from the Show promises to be extra special with all the questions coming from the audience."
Jackson is one of the highest-profile presenters on Sky Sports - and has presented television sport for over five years.
She also hosted the FIFA 2009 World Footballer of the Year awards in Zurich.
"I can't wait to be at the Show. I grew up in a very sports-orientated family - my mum played lacrosse for England," said Jackson.
"I have the utmost admiration and respect for the commitment and dedication of everyone involved in grass roots football.”
The brmb Grass Roots Football Show 2011 is the biggest football event of its kind in Europe and takes place at the NEC in Birmingham between 3rd and 5th of June.
With more skills, more coaching sessions, more tactics, more interaction and more of the biggest stars in the game including Robbie Savage, Graham Taylor, Chris Coleman, Chris Hughton, Iain Dowie, Dion Dublin, Peter Taylor and Tosh Farrell - the brmb Grass Roots Football Show is this year’s must attend football event.
Tickets – priced at £15 for adults and £7.50 for children under 16 - will allow visitors exclusive access to all three days of the must attend football event this summer and they are now on sale at www.grassrootsfootball.co.uk
