Thornton + Ross up front again for Huddersfield Town

Fri 20th May 2011 | Football Sponsorship

Huddersfield Town have announced a 12 month extension to their partnership with international pharmaceutical company Thornton +Ross Ltd.

Thornton +Ross Ltd’s muscle rub ‘Radian B’ was the brand featuring on the front of Town’s official away shirt for the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons. As part of their extended partnership Radion B will continue to feature on the club’s change strip for the upcoming 2011/12 campaign.

The pharmaceutical company has strengthened its relationship with the Huddersfield Town and has been involved in a number of high-profile events held by the club. At the end of last year John Chamberlin of Thornton + Ross delivered a presentation to over 100 delegates at the second Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy held at the Stadium.

Founded in 1922, Thornton + Ross Ltd is the largest independent pharmaceutical manufacturer in the UK with a rapidly expanding portfolio and their corporate social responsibility fits perfectly with Huddersfield Town's own hard-working and expanding community programme.

Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented on his delight at securing another year with one of the club’s main partners:

“Huddersfield Town is delighted to have extended the relationship between the club and one of Huddersfield’s most successful businesses Thornton +Ross.”

He added: “We have been very proud to have their muscle rub brand ‘Radian B’ feature on the front of our last two away shirts and look forward to seeing it again next year.

“During our two year partnership Thornton + Ross has become a valuable member of our family; our working relationship has been superb and we are looking forward to building upon it over the next season."

Thornton + Ross’ John Chamberlin commented: “It has been a pleasure to work with Huddersfield Town over the last two years, during which time we have gained good exposure for the Radian B brand as well as boosting the company’s profile in the local area.

“Making the decision to extend our sponsorship of the club’s away shirts for another season was not a difficult one, and we are delighted to continue to be associated with Huddersfield Town, and to further develop our very good working relationship.”

The Huddersfield Town away shirt for the 2011/12 season featuring the Radian B will be revealed later this month.
