Bevington takes on interim Comms role

The FA have announced Adrian Bevington will take temporary charge of Communications department.

Further to the recent departure of The FA's Director of Marketing and Communications – Julian Eccles, Adrian Bevington has agreed to take on executive management responsibility for the Communications area during the interim period until a permanent appointment Is made.

Adrian has extensive management experience in this area after several years as Director of Communications before taking on the role as Club England MD. However, Mark Whittle and Scott Field will continue as the key media contacts on a daily basis.

The Marketing and Public Affairs areas will report directly into FA General Secretary Alex Horne during this period.
