FIFA to hold ‘PERFORMANCE’ conference at Soccerex

Fri 23rd Sep 2011 | Football Industry Events

Soccerex is delighted to announce that FIFA’s Member Association and Development Division will be running a conference entitled ‘PERFORMANCE: the Football Management Programme of FIFA at this year’s Soccerex Global Convention, 26-30 November, Rio de Janeiro.

‘PERFORMANCE’ is a new FIFA programme which focuses on supporting national football federations by giving them advice and training on a wide range of areas related to matters both on and off the pitch, from the structures for coaching and competitions programmes to ways in which associations can improve their IT, finance, governance and marketing operations.

The workshop will be led by Thierry Regenass, Director Member Associations and Development Division, FIFA. He will be joined by Dr. Luis Bedoya Giraldo, President of the Colombian FA (also President of the LOC for the U-20 FIFA 2011 WC in Colombia), Rodrigo Jose Cobo Morales, Administrative and Financial Managing Director of the Colombian FA (and also tournament Director of the recent U-20 FIFA 2011 WC in Colombia) and Kevan Pipe, FIFA Consultant for the PERFORMANCE programme.

In addition to the ‘FIFA PERFORMANCE’ conference, Soccerex will be running workshops designated to Clubs, Stadia, Performance, Women’s football and the FIFA World Cup TM. The workshops compliment a comprehensive seminar line up, a packed exhibition and a two day Football Festival which take place on the 26th and 27th November.
