Maxim Group Celebrates 20yrs of Business

Top store fit out company, Maxim Creative Group which boasts Manchester City and Everton as clients continues to go from strength to strength as it celebrates 20 successful years in business this year.

Offering a one-stop-shop for fit out solutions, Maxim Creative Group has fitted out over 400 stores throughout the UK and was responsible for the fit out of Manchester City’s impressive new City Store at the Etihad Stadium. Progressing from five employees working out of small premises in Saddleworth, the company now operates from a 100,000 square foot facility in Oldham.

Maxim Creative Group boasts many client relationships of over 10 years and its service and reliability is key to these long standing relationships as managing director John McCarrick explains: “We want to offer our clients a complete solution from start to finish, so they just have one point of contact for the whole process.

“We pride ourselves in continually meeting tight deadlines for our customers, we have never missed a deadline or gone over budget yet and this is what keeps our clients coming back time and again.”

With all of its products manufactured in the UK, Maxim Creative Group offers a genuine point of difference from competitors as director Peter McCarrick comments: “Due to our factory being here in the UK, it means clients can come and have a look at their projects take shape and we often mock up store layouts so they can visualise what the finished design will look like in-store. This is something completely unique so really sets us apart.”

Commenting on the changing face of retail design, director Michael McVey adds: “Retail design has changed dramatically over the last 20 years, clients want the wow factor but they want it quicker and more cost effectively with higher levels of return on investment.”

Looking to build on its success, Maxim Creative Group is looking to expand into other market sectors including leisure and hospitality and is targeting a 15% year on year growth over the next five years.

The expertise and hands on approach of the senior team is a major advantage for clients as they have direct access to the experience of the directors. Peter McCarrick joined the company in 1994 and became a director in 2000 assuming responsibility for overall manufacturing and installations. While Michael McVey has been a director since merging his company with Maxim Creative Group in 2003 and looks after all of the new business development and design elements of projects.

Maxim Creative Group is a one-stop-shop solution for interior fit out offering a complete service from initial design concepts through to manufacture and installation. With a complete service offering for clients, Maxim Creative Group boasts expertise in project management, design, manufacture, visual merchandising, printing and technical drawing. All products are manufactured in the UK, offering clients the advantage of visiting the production facility to see their projects taking shape. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, clients include Manchester City Football Club, Skechers and Arcadia.
