The Secrets of Successful Online Football Video

Fan engagement is top of the agenda as fcbusiness Editor, Ryan McKnight moderates StreamUK’s seminar at this year’s Soccerex European Forum.  

Interviewing StreamUK CEO, Duncan Burbidge, McKnight will open up the seminar titled; ‘A FAN ENGAGING FORMULA: THE SECRETS BEHIND SUCCESSFUL ONLINE FOOTBALL VIDEO,’ which will feature Paul Rogers (Head of Content at Liverpool FC) and Matthew Quinn (Liverpool FC Digital Systems Coordinator) about Liverpool FC TV, an online football video subscription service that is as successful as any in the world.

StreamUK partnered with Liverpool FC in 2011 to revamp the club’s online video offering, which now claims to be the most successful online video subscription service of any football club in the world. The session will explore what Stream UK call “Tribal Technology”, as well as Liverpool FC’s online video offering.

Speaking ahead of the event, McKnight said: “The work by Paul and his team at Liverpool FC shows the incredible power digital media has and we expect the seminar to give a real insight into how football clubs can harness these platforms to create stronger relationships with their fanbases.”

The seminar hosted by StreamUK CEO Duncan Burbidge will look at the role StreamMP has played in improving fan engagement and enhancing social interaction for sports businesses worldwide. Burbidge will also use the opportunity to show how the Tribal Technology behind the platform adds real and measurable value to Football Clubs’ online video.

StreamUK are also exhibiting at the Soccerex European Forum in Manchester. The seminar will take place at 2pm on the 29th March at the Soccerex Euopean Forum in Manchester Central.
