Holdsworth Makes Grass Roots Football Show Debut

Tue 15th May 2012 | Football Industry Events

Former Premier League striker and current Aldershot Town Manager, Dean Holdsworth, will make his debut at this year’s Grass Roots Football Show.

Holdsworth, who managed Aldershot to an 11th place finish in League 2 this season, will be taking coaching master classes and seminars at Europe’s biggest grass roots football event at the NEC in Birmingham from the 25-27th May.

The former Wimbledon, Brentford and Bolton Wanderers striker will be appearing at the show as part of his role with the Non League Association.

Holdsworth, a former chairman of the Professional Footballer’s Association, said; “I am really excited about making my debut at The Grass Roots Football Show and helping to showcase the Non League Association.

“Everyone in the football family has heard about the show and I am really looking forward to meeting the people involved in grass roots football.

“As a passionate coach and manager I am always looking to learn from other involved in the game and what better way to do that than by spending three days of wall to wall football at the NEC.”

Joanna Burns, Director of The Grass Roots Football Show, said; “We are delighted to that Dean will be joining us at this year’s show and hosting a coaching clinic in the main arena.

“To have secured a current Football League manager is a real coup for the event and we have no doubt our audience will enjoy the session Dean has planned.”

The Grass Roots Football Show 2012 is the biggest football event of its kind in Europe and takes place at the NEC in Birmingham between 25th and 27th May.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £6 for under 16’s. Buy your tickets today at http://www.grassrootsfootball.co.uk/tickets/
