Entries Now Open for Football Business Awards

Thu 14th Jun 2012 | Football Industry Events

Entries are now open for the inaugural Football Business Awards – the new awards designed to celebrate excellence, hard work, innovation and achievement in the business of football.

The organisers are encouraging all football clubs and businesses serving football to enter the awards, the winners of which will be announced in November at gala event hosted at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge.

The Awards offer a chance for clubs and businesses to be acknowledged as industry leaders in one of 17 categories that encompass the business of football, its positive impact on the community and the vital role played by businesses that exist to serve the game.

The categories range from the best club marketing campaign and the best stadium development, to the best Chief Executive at a football club and the most innovative use of technology. The high profile panel of judges are drawn from football, business and the media.

Chelsea FC Chairman, Bruce Buck, who is Chairman of the Judges, said, “These awards are extremely important, and long overdue, in giving recognition to those who have excelled in the wide array of businesses involved in the football industry."
