Crystal Palace CEO Joins Football League Board

Crystal Palace Chief Executive Phil Alexander has been elected to the Board of The Football League.

Alexander, 49, joins Shaun Harvey (Leeds United) and Keith Lamb (Middlesbrough) as the Championship representatives on the Board and replaces Derby County Chief Executive Tom Glick, who is moving to a new role with Premier League Champions Manchester City.

Football League Chairman, Greg Clarke said: "Phil is an excellent addition to The Football League Board, he brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge about our game.

"I look forward to him making a positive contribution to our competition."

Phil Alexander added: "I am delighted at being voted to the Football League Board. It is an honour for me personally and Crystal Palace FC and I look forward to working with the Board and making a difference."
