Kitbag signs up as Football Business Awards Sponsor

Fri 20th Jul 2012 | Football Industry Events

The Football Business Awards has concluded a deal with Kitbag, the market leading multichannel retailer, to sponsor the Best Premier League Commercial Team category in this year’s inaugural Football Business Awards.

The deal sees Kitbag joining other leading industry names including the Football Foundation, Arena Seating and fcbusiness, as key partners for the event which will be hosted at Chelsea FC this November.

Awards organiser, Simon Burton said, “We are delighted to have Kitbag involved, they partner with the world’s leading football teams and have relationships with some of sports biggest brands. We are proud to be working with them.”

Burton continued, “We are excited about the level of entries we have already received, with two weeks still to go until the entry deadline. The interest from clubs at every level in the UK and beyond, as well as from businesses serving football has been inspiring. Our judges, media partners and entrants are of the highest calibre and our partnership with Kitbag reflects our aspirations for the awards.

Chris Bailes, Head of Retail, Kitbag, said, “We have successful partnerships  with some of football’s finest commercial teams and, as such  it seemed highly appropriate for Kitbag to sponsor The Best Premier League Commercial Team category, in recognition of the contribution they make to our industry.”
