Manchester City Launch New EA Sports Gaming Box

Thu 4th Oct 2012 | Marketing & PR

Manchester City Football Club has teamed up with their Official Gaming Partner, EA SPORTSTM, to create a unique and exciting match and non-matchday experience for visitors to the Etihad Stadium

Raising the bar in venue hospitality, Manchester City will deliver an interactive Gaming Box in place of what was a traditional 8ft x 11ft entertaining space.

Available to hire, the fully interactive Gaming Box accommodates up to 10 people, offering EA SPORTS’ latest gaming releases, including the latest version of the best selling sports franchise of all time, FIFA 13.

The box boasts luxury gaming chairs, a 42” screen and a PS3 gaming console. Marrying the virtual with real-life action, the box benefits from panoramic views of the pitch.

Justice Ellis, Marketing Manager at Manchester City Football Club, said: “The new EA SPORTS Gaming Box thrills the senses, and offers an unrivalled combined experience for football and gaming fans; to reward, treat or for special occasions. Fully interactive, with dynamic visuals, tournament zone, lounge area, game-playing at your fingertips and all within the setting of Manchester City Football Club.

“From the moment you walk in, every detail has been thought of so that guests enjoy a fully customised experience – even boasting its own more informal catering – but with same usual high standard for a Platinum Box guest, including your own balcony seating and dedicated waiter or waitress.

Dan Holman, Head of Product Marketing for EA SPORTS, said: “The FIFA 13 partnership with Manchester City is a fantastic way of enabling us to deliver memorable sporting memories for football fans. We are delighted with the EA SPORTS Gaming Box as it helps us further integrate the FIFA franchise into real world football. ”

To hire the EA SPORTS Gaming Box please contact the Manchester City Football Club Hospitality team on 0161 444 1894 (from the UK) or email: hospitality@mcfc.co.uk
