Accrington Stanley Launches Exclusive Business Club
Wed 7th Nov 2012 | Marketing & PR
Accrington Stanley is appealing to East Lancashire businesses to work in partnership with the club to promote their services to supporters.
‘East Lancashire By Official Appointment’ is a new initiative from the club’s commercial department – with Accross College the first business to sign up to the scheme at the monthly Accrington Business League networking event this week.
The project will invite local businesses to become commercial partners of the club to raise their profile and promote their services to supporters and the local community. Only one business of its kind will be permitted to join the scheme to avoid competition.
Accrington Stanley managing director Robert Heys said: “We are aiming to put our club at the forefront of commercial excellence in the region.”
As exclusive preferred suppliers to Accrington Stanley, By Official Appointment businesses will enjoy a range of added perks like matchday hospitality, media coverage, advertising and networking opportunities.
“The By Official Appointment initiative is a fantastic opportunity open to businesses of all sizes,” added Heys. “We want to work together to develop our businesses and help them to benefit from a stronger relationship with Accrington Stanley.
“Everybody will benefit so it’s a win-win situation – our fans and local communities will be the first to hear about great services from local businesses and our By Official Appointment partners will see a boost to their business.”
