Galatasaray Launch Integrated Ticketing Solution

Turkish side Galatasaray Football Club, have awarded IRIS Ticketing the contract to deliver its integrated TALENT Sport ticketing solution.

The multi-year contract sees Galatasaray introduce inventive ticketing for supporters to ensure they have the best online experience when purchasing tickets for its games. Crucially, the solution gives control of the club’s customer database back to the club, allowing Galatasaray to analyse its customer behaviour and introduce flexible ticketing promotions and offers to meet the needs of its supporters.

The system launched successfully this month for its game with Besiktas on the 27th January and represents a strategic milestone in IRIS Ticketing’s plans to grow internationally.

The TALENT Sport system will be used for all of Galatasaray matches and is a key component of the evolution of the club since the opening of the Ali Sami Yen Türk Telekom Arena, its new home ground, in January 2012. The state-owned stadium has a capacity of over 52,000 and is the newest and most technologically advanced stadium in Turkey.

Şafak Sarıahmetoğlu, Ticketing Manager at Galatasaray, also commented: "It was a must for the new system to be flexible and stable to meet our continuously changing and potentially challenging needs.

“Talent, as a ticketing platform, not only meets this criteria on its own but also with its seamless integration with the access control system makes life much easier between sales and operations. BeyazBorsa's expertise in both areas has proven invaluable in implementing this expansive project.”

Commenting on the launch of Galatasaray’s ticketing solution Mark Dewell, Managing Director at IRIS Ticketing, said: “Ensuring Galatasaray delivers a world class experience to its supporters was at the heart of its rigorous process to find the right solution for its ticketing requirements.
