2013 Football Business & Supplier Charity Cup Draw

Eight football and media businesses from all over the UK were drawn in fixtures today for the first round of the 2013 Football Business & Supplier Charity Cup.

The competition is supporting the CLIC Sargent charity, hoping to raise significant funds for children and young people who are affected by cancer.

The first game will see the digital advertising agency Aqueduct take on the global football convention Soccerex, both kicking-off the tournament with high hopes of reaching the final.

Other first round fixtures include experience marketing experts GPJ vs. media channel management gurus Diagonal View - a joint team called 'Goals2life'  featuring Revolution Sports and strategic partner Brands2Life, taking on the national news agency Press Association - whilst the online football video and streaming solutions provider StreamUK take on the NIA Foundation Charity.

The four-stage cup is taking place in West London on Saturday 2ND March, with over 80 football business and media employees taking part.

One of the cup organisers claims that the competition shows one of the best sides of football, “The FBSCC aims to bring a great variety of teams together, offering a networking opportunity with a difference. The support has been incredible this year so we’d like to thank all of the companies, media and charities involved, as well as send our luck to the teams taking part!”
