fcbusiness Becomes Official Media Partner of the Sports CRM Summit

Thu 28th Feb 2013 | Football Industry Events

fcbusiness are proud to announce we are official media partners of the Sports CRM Summit 2013.

This annual event, now in its fifth year, will once again be hosted by Sports CRM specialists Goodform in association, for the first time, with IBM. Over the last five years the Summit has grown into a must-attend event for sports industry professionals with delegates attending from clubs, venues, events, associations, national governing bodies and leagues across Europe.

As always the focus of the event will be on exploring the very latest thinking, best practice, strategies and tactics in Customer Relationship Management and its role in increasing engagement, participation, satisfaction and revenues in sports organisations.

Keynote speakers include Chris Rose, Head of Brand, at Leicester Tigers and Nick Watkins, CEO of Swindon Town FC.

fcbusiness Deputy Editor, Aaron Gourley said, “We are proud to become official media partners of the Sports CRM Summit for the second year in a row.

“CRM is hugely important and critical component of a football club’s strategy as they seek to drive customer retention and loyalty. The current economic climate has been very tough but through CRM activities, many football clubs have been able to increase attendances and fan satisfaction.

“Last year’s event at Wembley was very good and the insight provided by the high quality speakers was invaluable to those that attended.”

The full agenda is yet to be announced but expect more real life case studies, more on Social CRM, more focused workshops and more from organisations outside of the sports industry, sharing their successful strategies.

The Summit promotes and discusses the use of CRM in the sports industry, as a strategic tool, encompassing the following themes;

• Data driven marketing

• A personalised and targeted approach

• Acting on insights

• Single customer view

• Building fan and customer engagement

• Social CRM

• Customer experience

• Generating and optimising revenues.

Alison Dalrymple, Managing Director of Goodform comments, "Goodform were delighted by the attendance level and the support shown at last year's Summit at Wembley Stadium.

“The feedback and enthusiasm from delegates highlighted the increasing importance placed on CRM in the sports industry by organisations looking to achieve their commercial targets around revenues, customer engagement and participation. There is also a real thirst for knowledge and progression in the industry and this is where the Sports CRM Summit plays a valuable part.

“This year's inaugural partnership with IBM represents an exciting step-change for the Summit and we're looking forward to announcing the full agenda shortly."

Online booking is now available as is the fantastic early bird rate of £179 plus VAT per delegate (not including the Breakfast Networking Session) or £199 plus VAT per delegate (to include the Breakfast Networking Session. Book your place here.
