fcbusiness Ties Up Asian Football Awards Partnership

fcbusiness is proud to be named as an official media partner of the Asian Football Awards in association with Goals Soccer Centre for 2013.

The awards, designed to celebrate the very best of UK Asian talent in football both on and off the field to be held at Wembley Stadium on the 8th October 2013, will be officially launched at an exclusive event at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster on the 26th March.

Commenting on the partnership, fcbusiness Head of Partnerships, Yal Bekar, said: “We are delighted to be named as an official media partner to the Asian Football Awards in association with Goals Soccer Centres.

“This is an extremely important event that highlights the role that UK Asians play in the national game.”

fcbusiness will present its very own media award, which will honour the very best of those working in football media.

“We are honoured to be able to present the fcbusiness media award,” added Bekar. “The huge media coverage that football gets in the UK is a vital component in the health of the game and this award will celebrate those that spend endless hours reporting on it.”

Baljit Rihal, founder of the Asian Football Awards, added: "We are extremely pleased to announce fcbusiness magazine as our media partner for The Asian Football Awards, being held at Wembley Stadium on 8th October 2013.

“We are honoured to follow a long list of prestigious events that are associated with a recognised industry leader.

“We believe that their dedication to the grassroots game, as well as their reach to high profile business decision makers will help us to achieve our aim of enhancing the Asians in Football cause."

The Awards will be supported by principal sponsor Goals Soccer Centres http://www.goalsfootball.co.uk  who will host an Asian 5-a-side tournament through May and June at 22 branches with the finals day taking place at Goals Gillette Corner in August.

The winners will receive a days training with a top Premier League club in their state of the art training ground as well as a meet and greet with the players.
