Liverpool FC is giving its fans the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the club’s first team training ground, Melwood, for the first ever time.
Melwood has been LFC’s training ground for over 70 years and has seen many Liverpool greats craft some of the team’s most memorable moments.
Fans will have the opportunity to see where the players train, work out, change and take up their seat in the press room, where Brendan Rodgers addresses the world's media on a weekly basis.
Liverpool FC Manager, Brendan Rodgers, said: “I think this is a great opportunity for all our fans to come and see first-hand where the players work. It’s a fantastic set up and will be a great experience for our fans.”
The tour will include the kit room, changing areas and the club's state-of-the-art gymnasium.
Andrew Parkinson, Liverpool FC’s Operation’s Director, said: “This is part of our objective to bring the club closer to our fans.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for people to experience what our players do on a daily basis. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Melwood.”
After the tour, the experience finishes with a return trip to Anfield on the official Liverpool team bus to enjoy a mini-tour of the stadium.
Tours run every day from Monday 27thMay to Sunday 16th June and cost £35. For further information please go to www.liverpoolfc.com/melwood
