Vauxhall Motors On With Scottish FA Sponsorship Extension

The Scottish Football Association have announced a four-year sponsorship extension with Vauxhall Motors, which will see the car brand maintain its position as Lead Partner to the Scotland National Teams.
The initial sponsorship, which began in January 2011, expires on 31st July 2014 and the new agreement will run until July 2018, up to and including the FIFA World Cup Finals in Russia.
Within that period, Euro 2016 will be played in France and Scotland men’s, women’s, youth and disability teams will compete in tournaments and matches throughout the world with the support of Vauxhall.
Vauxhall Chairman and Managing Director, Duncan Aldred, commented: “We are delighted to have extended our relationship with the Scottish FA and all of the Scotland National Teams.
“This affiliation has delivered tremendous levels of brand awareness and has helped further cement our position as the number one selling car brand in Scotland.

Stewart Regan, Scottish FA Chief Executive, said: “We are extremely proud to have extended our relationship with Vauxhall.
“It has been the perfect partnership and the fact that the renewal was agreed well in advance of the current agreement expiring shows the Scotland sponsorship is really delivering for Vauxhall, and we have no doubt it will continue to do so.
“After experiencing the huge benefits that Vauxhall have brought to our players, supporters and media partners, we are thrilled and excited at sustaining a strong alliance for a further four years.”
The Luton based company has forged close links with the Scottish FA Communications, Commercial and Digital teams, with Vauxhall supporting the development of various social and digital media channels and the wider distribution of supporter orientated video content.
