LFC E.L.I.T.E.S Leadership Programmes Arrive in Scandinavia
Fri 26th Jul 2013 | Football Club Management
London School of Business & Finance and English Premier League club Liverpool FC are bringing the innovative E.L.I.T.E.S Management and Leadership programme to Scandinavia.
Following the success of highly-acclaimed pilot programmes at Liverpool Football Club Academy in June, it will be the first time the programme will be delivered outside the UK. The first stop will be Aalborg, Denmark, with further events scheduled to take place in South Africa throughout October.
Providing a rare insight in to the management skills and strategies Liverpool Football Club employ in the running of their business, the five day programme demonstrates the transferable skills that sport coaching can bring to any leader in any business through world-class management theory, innovative practical sessions and engaging seminars, all taught the 'Liverpool Way'.
E.L.I.T.E.S, the Education and Learning Initiative Training Entrepreneurs in Sport, aims to provide a life-changing experience in management and leadership education.
E.L.I.T.E.S ambassador and Liverpool FC legend Ian Rush said, “This collaboration between Liverpool FC and London School of Business & Finance is like nothing I’ve come across before.
“The programmes are a great opportunity for participants to develop and learn more about business and management through football tactics, practices and philosophies”.
The programmes will run at the Nordjyske Arena, home ground of Danish Superliga club AaB, from 2–6th and 9–13th September 2013.
