Goodform appointed by Sheffield United Football Club

Goodform is delighted to announce their recent appointment by Sheffield United FC.

The Yorkshire Club, whose home at Bramall Lane is the oldest professional stadium in the world, have a rich history which includes a Football League title and four FA Cup victories since their establishment in 1889.

Goodform have been contracted as The Blades CRM Agency as well as supplying specialist strategic consultancy to help develop and implement business plans across the Club.

As with all of Goodform’s clients, the immediate focus will be to create a single customer view database to ensure that all future communication with supporters is personalised and targeted to their chosen preferences.

Working in conjunction with Advanced Ticketing (formerly IRIS) who supply TALENT, the Club’s ticketing and corporate sales software, Goodform will consolidate the remaining transactional information across a variety of software platforms into the single customer view.

United’s Chief Executive Officer, Julian Winter comments: “The Club is committed to delivering a much higher standard of communication with supporters and key stakeholders moving forward. This will be carried out both in person with events such as the recent Q&A with David Weir and myself, alongside a far higher standard of personalised and interactive e-communications strategy. As the leaders in this field in UK sport, we are delighted to have Goodform on board to help us execute our plans.”

Michael Jones, CRM Services Director at Goodform, will be leading the project: “Sheffield United are a forward thinking club who recognise the importance of establishing a closer relationship with their fans and are proactively seeking to achieve this through a focused CRM and digital marketing strategy. Goodform has worked with many football clubs, of all sizes, on their CRM delivery and we are looking forward to working with Sheffield United to improve their commercial strategies and assisting them to achieve their objectives.”
