Celtic announce Phoenix Honda as new official vehicle sponsor

Thu 5th Sep 2013 | Football Sponsorship

Celtic have announced Phoenix Honda as the Club’s new official vehicle sponsor for the forthcoming season.

Phoenix have an established relationship with the Club, having partnered with Celtic at various times over many years.

Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said: “We are delighted to announce Phoenix as our official vehicle partner for the coming season.

Celtic and Phoenix have many years of history together and we are pleased to renew this relationship with such an excellent and successful organisation. We are sure this new relationship will bring great benefits to the Club and our supporters.”

Debbie Hubner, Phoenix Honda Franchise Director, said: “We’ve always been proud to be affiliated with Celtic Football Club and we’re thrilled to once again be an official partner of the club.

"Phoenix Honda are now celebrating our 20th anniversary year and confirming our official vehicle sponsor status is the perfect way to mark this milestone.

“Everyone at Phoenix is looking forward to working with Celtic and its fans in the coming season in what I am sure will be an exciting time not just for the Club but also for our brand."

Phoenix Honda is a premium class-leading brand with branches in Glasgow and Paisley covering the West and Stirling and Grangemouth covering Central Scotland.

It is a key part of the larger Phoenix Group, which extends to 18 branches throughout Scotland.  Family values are at the heart of the Company, and an ethos of excellence and inclusivity with a strong commitment to put something back into the community.

We believe that makes Phoenix Honda a great fit with Celtic Football Club who share that calling.

It is an extremely exciting time for Phoenix and for the Honda brand, with several big line-up changes coming. From the all-new 1.6 Diesel engine in the current Civic range and soon to be available in the CR-V and the brand new Civic Tourer, to the new Civic Type-R and our all-new super sports car, the NSX which is also on the horizon.

In addition to vehicle sponsorship, Phoenix will also use its partnership with the club to explore various opportunities to offer exclusive benefits to supporters.

These will include access to match tickets at Celtic Park, competitions and promotional offers including discounted servicing and MOTs, and a range of car offers.
