BragBet and the Football Association of Ireland have announced a partnership, which will see BragBet, the Irish online betting and social networking company, become the official betting partner to the FAI and the Irish national football team.
Commenting about the deal, BragBet CEO, Phil Riordan said; "We are absolutely delighted to sign this deal with the FAI and become the official betting sponsors of the Irish national team. As someone who has a background in football, I am delighted to see that this deal will help the growth of football across the country. This is an exciting time for BragBet and for the game in Ireland. Hopefully, our work together will promote the Boys in Green and generate more interest in the Irish game. We are really looking forward to announcing a grassroots initiative together to put money back into clubs throughout Ireland in the coming weeks."
Making today's announcement, FAI CEO John Delaney said, "I would like to welcome BragBet as official betting partner of the FAI. The partnership will give us a great platform for further promotion of the game and will provide funding to support the work that we are doing on many levels to grow Irish football."
BragBet, a dynamic entrant to the social media marketplace, is backed by Telefonica, amongst others. BragBet encourages groups of mates to discuss sporting events and bet together as a team. BragBet's mobile apps, website and private team wall means that the banter between mates is never too far away.
The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) is the governing body of football in Ireland and its goal is to develop the game of football all around the country, from the grass root levels all the way to the senior International teams.
