Jo Brand To Host Football Business Awards 2013

Jo Brand, the BAFTA-winning star of Getting On and Through the Cakehole has been announced as host of the Football Business Awards 2013.

Hailed by The Mirror as 'the best female comic in Britain’ and one of the most distinctive figures in comedy, Jo will host the glittering awards dinner and ceremony at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge on the 7th November.

The 2013 Football Business Awards have received a fantastic response with entries up 20% on last year and well over half of all Premier League clubs now involved as well as teams from all levels of the game.

Entries reflect a wide variety of businesses working in and around football from SMEs to major players, such as The FA, Wembley, Opta, Continental Tyres, EA Sports and Budweiser.

The submission window is now closed and the bench of industry judges are now scrutinising the many entries. Some highly competitive categories are set to go right down to the wire. The finalists will be announced on 27th September.

With such entertainment, and closely fought participation, the Awards ceremony is guaranteed to be hugely popular, and the event organisers are anticipating a sell-out of the 500 seat event.
