Ross County agree five-year sponsorship extension with Stanley CRC Evans Offshore

Tue 17th Sep 2013 | Football Sponsorship

Ross County have announced a new 5 year deal with shirt sponsors Stanley CRC Evans Offshore that will extend the partnership with the oil and gas pipeline giants through to 2018.

Whilst the financial details of the deal remain confidential, the unprecedented length of the deal not only provides a period of stability as they look to build on the on-field success of recent years, but is also a mark of recognition both for the team's achievements and indeed reflects positively on the state of Scottish Football both at home and abroad.

Ross County Chairman Roy MacGregor commented, "I'm delighted that we have been able to build on what has already proved a very positive relationship with CRC Evans Offshore. Whilst you see their logo on our First Team shirts, their backing also extends to other areas including a significant contribution to the Club's Youth Development and Children's Academy structure.

Derek and the team have delivered beyond all expectations on the pitch, and seeing their logo flash across the Country and beyond when we famously beat Celtic or indeed Inverness live on Sky on the final day of the Season is great publicity for any sponsor, however as part of the Stanley group I believe CRC Evans Offshore also take a pride in supporting the long term growth and development of a Club which has already made a remarkable journey in such a short space of time.

It has been a pleasure to work with partners who share the Club's enthusiasm and vision, and I am delighted that we will continue to do so in the coming years and seasons."

Jim Canon, President of CRC Evans and Stanley Oil and Gas echoed Roy's sentiments, "We are pleased that with the announcement of this extension of our partnership with Ross County we can now look forward to strengthening our relationship not only with the Club but also the local Community."
