Huggity Shortlisted For 2013 Football Business Awards

Huggity has been unveiled as a finalist for the 2013 Football Business Awards, it was announced today.

Under the category for Most Innovative Use of Technology in Football, the Irish based company’s season long FanPic campaign with Liverpool FC has been given the nod for the awards ceremony.

The campaign strongly promoted brand awareness, fan engagement to a global fan base and gave fans an innovative concept to relive the match day experience while being a part of a social community. The adaptation of FanPic to run across a series of events, while still maintaining the high levels of engagement proved a success that has now been recognised by the industry’s top professionals.

The awards ceremony, currently in its second year and held at Chelsea Football Club on November 7th, is the leading awards ceremony celebrating the business of football. Mike Sikorski, CEO of Huggity, commented, “It is always great to get recognition for our achievements. Huggity has come a long way in the past two years and it shows the strength of the company and our team to continually be nominated for awards such as this.“
