On Facebook, FIFA’s official page for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil saw a growth of 40% with a reach of over 32 million, as fans were able to follow the build-up with exclusive behind-the-scenes photos, interviews & post-draw video interviews.

On Twitter, FIFA President @seppblatter passed 500,000 followers, Brazilian President @DilmaBR promoted the Final Draw, and Vicente Del Bosque’s photobomb of Fabio Capello @fifacom went viral, as FIFA used Twitter Mirror for the first time.

FIFA.com, the official app and FIFA’s social media platforms will continue to evolve over the coming months as FIFA aims to create and share content which is informative, social, fun and accessible for hundreds of millions of football fans for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
