Huggity and CI Sports partner up in Turkey

Fri 13th Dec 2013 | Marketing & PR

Huggity and CI Sports last night teamed up to announce their official distribution partnership for the Turkish market.

The move follows on from Huggity’s continued global expansion, which has seen them seal strategic partnerships in Australia, India and many across Europe.

The expansion will allow for Huggity’s core product, FanPic, the post event fan engagement technology to be utilised by sponsoring brands and sporting organisations so that they can activate their sponsorship online.

Along with the partnership last night saw the first FanPic to be taken in Turkey and in the Euroleague for the Fenerbahce game at the Ulker Sports Arena. The FanPic will go live tonight at 9PM here

Mike Sikorski, CEO and founder of Huggity, commented, “We are delighted to partner up with CI Sports here in Turkey. The Turkish market is one we are very bullish about and can see a huge potential for our technologies to be utilised by sponsoring brands to fully activate their sponsorship online and build true engagement with both sport and music fans.”

Murat Dulge, Managing Director of CI Sports, commented, “ We are extremely proud to team up with Huggity in the Turkish market and to deliver the first FanPic for Fenerbahce Ulker yesterday . This project is the first of its kind in the Turkish market and we believe that FanPic will be a great product to bring to Turkey’s many sports events, international festivals and concerts.

Given Turkey’s young population and their adoption of social media tools and channels more than any other country in the world; Huggity’s amazing technology will bring new ideas for brands to activate their sponsorship and engage with fans online and we are delighted to partner with Huggity to achieve this.”
