Queens Park Rangers have announced a new five-year kit deal with Nike Inc, which sees the world’s leading sports brand unveiled as their new technical partner from the start of next season.

Taking over from current kit provider, Lotto, Nike will design, manufacture and distribute all kit, training wear and related products from the 2014/15 season onwards.

QPR Chairman, Tony Fernandes, told www.qpr.co.uk: “We are delighted to be entering into this new and exciting partnership with Nike and look forward to working alongside their team over the next five years.

“Nike is the leading global sports brand and they are a fantastic brand for us to be associated with.”

QPR CEO, Philip Beard, added: “Nike’s unparalleled research and development capacity, leading global retail distribution networks and award winning marketing capabilities mean that this is a very important step forward in the evolution of the club.

“We are really looking forward to working together.”

Marc Van Pappelendam, GM, Nike UK & Ireland commented: “We’re proud to start working with QPR.

“The club has a great heritage and we’re looking forward to the partnership.”
