Everton Ticketing Voted Best In Premier League

Everton has been voted the best club in the Premier League’s annual Fan Survey in a host of key areas.

Ticketing was one of the most notable successes, with the Blues coming out ahead of all their Premier League rivals.

The survey showed that fans rate Everton number one in the Premier League for ease of purchasing tickets online, junior ticket pricing and the matchday experience at Goodison Park.

Everton’s fans purchase tickets online using Everton’s in-house ticketing solution, TALENT Sport, the ticketing commerce platform from Advanced Ticketing (Advanced).

Following a sustained effort to make ticket purchasing easier for fans, the Blues have been ranked number one for ease of obtaining ticket information and purchasing tickets online. The club is one of the longest-standing users of TALENT Sport, which is designed to provide a fast, reliable and secure online purchasing experience for fans.

An ongoing commitment to welcoming the next generation of Evertonians to Goodison Park has also led to the club taking the top spot for the pricing of tickets for young Blues.

Robert Elstone, Chief Executive Officer of Everton, said: “Every day, across everything we do, we aspire to ‘nil satis nisi optimum’ (nothing but the best is good enough), and the judges of whether we reach that lofty bar are, of course, our fans. That’s why the results of this year’s Premier League Fan Survey are so pleasing.”

“Not only do the results demonstrate continued and significant improvement across the board and, in many areas, taking a top four position, they tell us our four-pronged strategy: focusing on matchdays; how easy it is for fans to get their hands on tickets and merchandise; fan engagement; and securing the best possible insight into our fans’ interests, needs and wants, is really working.”

Mark Dewell, Managing Director at Advanced Ticketing, says, “It is great to see fans recognising the ongoing improvements that Everton FC is making in order to deliver a great experience, which starts from the moment they purchase their ticket.

“Technology plays a small but critical part in the club’s overall strategy. We know that making it easy and fast for loyal fans to get the right tickets every time is important; this includes being able to choose seats online, having options for family tickets and being able to purchase tickets from any device, at any time and from wherever they are.

“Fans’ personal preferences are recorded accurately in TALENT. Smart clubs like Everton use this information to engage with their fans in a personalised manner.

With nearly 40,000 football fans (36,878) taking part in the independent research nationwide – including 1,665 Evertonians – the Premier League Fan Survey gauges overall attitudes towards each club, as well as asking supporters to rank overall matchday experience, customer service, ticketing facilities and stadium safety.
