International sports marketing agency, SPORTFIVE, has agreed a deal to become the exclusive LED advertising sales agency for West Ham United commencing for the coming 2014/15 season.
The new multi-year deal to secure the rights to advertising space for the pitch-side boards cements SPORTFIVE’s position as the market leader in the UK football rights sales industry.
Signing with Premier League side West Ham United brings SPORTFIVE’s exclusive club partners to a total of 33 and marks an exciting time for the agency, which is expected to announce further additions to its portfolio in the coming weeks.
This new deal further enhances SPORTFIVE as the dominant rights holder across both the Premier League and Football League, to exclusively bring to market the most compelling offer to prospective football advertisers.
Carl Woodman, Managing Director of SPORTFIVE, said: “We are delighted to have added West Ham United to our UK rights portfolio. We are committed to continuing to develop our business by delivering real value to our football clubs and this new deal is testament to our ability to do that.
“West Ham is a great football club and a very desirable commercial property and we look forward to working successfully with them for many years to come.”
Felicity Croft, Commercial Director of West Ham United, added: “SPORTFIVE are the clear market leader in their sector and we are very pleased to be working with such a strong agency partner.
“They have a proven track record in delivering excellent commercial returns on a truly international basis and we look forward to a very successful relationship at this exciting time for the Club.”
