Xuper Strike Deal With Derby County

Tue 17th Jun 2014 | IT & Technology

Derby County Football Club has announced Xuper, the Derby-based integrated technology company, as its Preferred Technology Partner for the next three-years.

Xuper will deliver on-going technical IT consultancy to the Club and is already working with the Rams on bespoke ticketing software and a complete office refurbishment, including networking and cabling.

Lisa Biesty, Commercial Director at Derby County said: “We are really looking forward to the innovative projects we have planned with Xuper and the efficiency gains these will bring us.

“This is another great example of how a Derby County business partnership can be beneficial to both parties, as we look to introduce Xuper to our ever-growing portfolio of partners.”

Based on Downing Road Industrial Estate, Microsoft Partner Xuper works with local and national customers to provide IT support, Cloud services, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sharepoint.

Xuper is also sponsoring Derby County, which will give the company a prominent presence inside the Club’s corporate hospitality suites, on pitch-side hoardings and on the large digital screens in and around the iPro Stadium.

The iPro stadium is the venue for Xuper’s regular breakfast roadshows. The successful first event focused on Microsoft Lync; a single interface which aims to help businesses stay more connected and efficient. Future breakfast roadshows will cover everything from CRM systems and apps to bespoke development and membership software, giving information to local companies about IT.

Derby County Chief Executive, Sam Rush added: “After an excellent season, the Club is keen to build on the strong foundations.

“Based in the city for more than 30-years, Xuper has its roots firmly planted in Derby and we are pleased to be working with them.”

Peter Grogan, managing director of Xuper says: “We are excited about our partnership with Derby County and it is an incredible endorsement for us.

“We’re keen to see how we can support other organisations in the area and amongst the Rams’ fans.

“Xuper takes a very personal approach and this has helped us build long standing relationships with local businesses as well as major companies including the Cooperative Group, Asda and several railway authorities.”
