Parcel delivery company DPD has been confirmed as Hinckley AFC's official shirt sponsor in for the 2014/15 season.
DPD will become the official shirt sponsor of the community owned club established in January 2014 following the liquidation of Hinckley United after its fans came together to create the new club.
Tim Jones, Marketing Director for DPD said, "We are delighted to be teaming up with Hinckley AFC. To get the club set-up and ready for the new season in such a short period of time is a fantastic achievement by everyone involved.
“Our association with the town is growing rapidly, so it is great to be able to get involved in something else that will make a huge difference to the community."
DPD is currently constructing a £100m parcel sorting hub at Hinckley Commercial Park, the largest of its kind in Europe.
Jones commented further, "The new club is a fantastic example of a community working together to make a difference and we are very proud to be part of the team helping to bring football back to Hinckley.
“Hopefully the club will give the town another boost and we wish them the very best of luck for the season ahead."
Gary Hancox Chairman of Hinckley AFC said, "We are very proud to have a business like DPD sponsor the club in its phoenix year.
“Having such tremendous support from DPD is a massive step in building Hinckley AFC into the club that the town and all its loyal football supporters deserve."
