Accrington Stanley FC Helping People Back To Work

Mon 17th May 2010 | Football Stadiums & Facilities

Accrington Stanley Football Club have begun work on the stadium, painting all the terraces and iron works over the summer period and to help them in this mammoth task they have enlisted the help of national training provider Intraining (formally TWL)

Neala Barker Operations Manager at Accrington Stanley said ‘We would not be able to complete such a labour intensive task without the support of Intraining, we will have a team of 12 volunteers here for approximately 6 weeks.  The team have proven to be really hard working and are all proud to be involved with the project.”

“The club is supported tremendously by the local community and individual volunteers throughout the football season, and this time of the year is our chance to return the favour back to the community. We are thrilled that the club can be used as a platform for individuals to gain valuable experience that will help them back into employment”
