Tottenham Hotspur unveils brand new Official YouTube channel

Fri 15th Aug 2014 | IT & Technology

Tottenham Hotspur have unveiled a brand new Official YouTube channel, bringing fans closer to their favourite team than ever before on one of the world’s largest and most popular media platforms.

With the 2014/15 Premier League season about to begin, the new-look channel promises high quality video content from around the Club, with exclusive access to players and entertaining features, including use of graphics, stats and archive imagery. Sunset+Vine, the multi-award winning UK independent TV sports production and media company has been appointed to manage the channel and the delivery of new content.

Tottenham Hotspur first team players Emmanuel Adebayor, Brad Friedel and Eric Dier all make cameo appearances in a video marking the unveil, that will capture the imagination of supporters across the world.

The Club’s YouTube channel is already famed for its high-quality video features, such as last year’s Halloween Prank featuring Kyle Walker and his Spurs team-mates, which has attracted more than 2.25m views.

A video clip of Lewis Holtby tackling recently retired referee Howard Webb during Ledley King’s Testimonial match in May, meanwhile, received over 4m views.

The new YouTube channel is part of an improved video offering across the Club’s digital platforms ahead of the new Premier League season.
