Football Business Awards Announces Finalists

The shortlist for the 2014 Football Business Awards has been announced.

With finalists comprised of clubs, agencies, sponsors and technology providers, the shortlist showcases all aspects of the sector that have had a significant impact on the beautiful game over the last year. 

The quality and quantity of entries has increased with each awards and this year has been no different. The top seven Premier League clubs on the pitch last season are finalists, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, along with a host of other brands including American Express, Bloomberg Sports and Sky Deutschland AG. 

This year’s categories include Best Club Marketing Campaign, Sponsorship / Partnership of the Year, Best Use of Social Media in Football and Best Football Community Scheme. Elsewhere hospitality, apps, match-day experience and fan engagement are some of the areas also honoured.

The winners will be announced at the ceremony on 6th November at Chelsea Football Club’s Stamford Bridge. An estimated 550 senior managers and decision makers from the football industry are expected to attend, making the awards a superb networking opportunity within the football calendar.
