Suite success at Everton

Tue 30th Sep 2014 | Football Stadiums & Facilities

Corporate guests at one of the country’s most famous football clubs can enjoy the ‘suite’ taste of success – after it unveiled its stylish new event spaces.

Goodison Park, home to premier league Everton Football Club, has refurbished three of its premier conference and banqueting suites – upgrading the décor and altering the layout to maximise space and offer increased seating versatility.

Among the trio benefitting from a furnishing facelift was the The Alex Young Lounge – named after Everton's match-winner in the 1906 FA Cup final - which can hold up to 300 people in a theatre-style layout.

Like the newly decorated Brian Labone and Joe Mercer Suites – which each hold up to 140 people – it has been tastefully redecorated in neutral shades, with walnut fittings.

“The new colour schemes not only reflect some of the most current trends in interior design,” said Jacqui Boyle, sales manager for Sodexo Prestige at Everton FC part of the Prestige Venues & Events portfolio, “but they provide a muted and soothing backdrop for all manner of events.”

Goodison Park has a total of nine conference and events suites and Sodexo Prestige, which manages the conference and banqueting facilities at the stadium, offers a number of day delegate packages starting from £20.95 per person.

The basic package includes free room hire, lunch and refreshments throughout the day, along with state-of-the-art audio visual technology, free parking for up to 300 cars, free Wifi, multi plasma widescreen TVs, air conditioning and stationery.

Goodison Park also boasts a number of executive, pitch-side boxes with uninterrupted views of the hallowed turf, which are ideal for smaller meetings, lunches or dinners, while conference organisers can also impress their guests by combining business meetings with a dinner and a tour of the famous stadium.

For further information about the conference facilities at Goodison Park call the events team on 0151 530 5250 or email events@evertonfc.com
