Matchsaver Makes Delivery At Varbergs BoIS FC Sweden

Thu 19th Feb 2015 | Football Stadiums & Facilities

As part of Matchsaver’s continued commitment to Scandinavian football, Swedish football club Varbergs BoIS FC have taken delivery of a Matchsaver Air Roller System. The 5 roller, 5 trailer system was delivered in February 2015.

The local municipality own and run the Påskbergsvallen Stadium which is the home of Varbergs BoIS FC. The Air Roller System will help to prevent match postponements, improve the quality of the pitch and help to secure the football club’s revenue stream. Added to this is the bonus that the Matchsaver Air Roller System will help to encourage germination throughout the winter months.

Ville Peltomaki, Nordic Sales Manager, commented, “Matchsaver have again proved that covering your pitch is ultimately the best way to protect it and encourage grass growth.

"Across Scandinavia Matchsaver systems have a substantial track record now in protecting pitches from the potentially harshest of conditions. And of course we always work closely with the interested parties to make sure that the covering system suits all their particular requirements.

"We always aim to build relationships in the long term rather than just offer short term solutions”
