Cardiff City Reveal New Crest Design

Cardiff City Football Club have shared the first visuals of their new club crest, which will be used in full from the start of the 2015/16 season.
The new crest will be displayed on the Championship club’s 2015/16 kits and across all club communications.
The new crest reverts back to club’s original Bluebird identity after it was changed to a red dragon in line with owner, Vincent Tan’s decision to change the club kit to red in 2012 to appeal to Asian audiences.
Many fans disapproved with the change and following relegation from the Premier League at the end of 2013/14 season, the club has since reverted back to wearing blue kit for home matches.
The new design takes inspiration from the shirts worn by the club’s 1927 FA Cup winning team, the first club outside of England to win the cup.
