Portsmouth renew sponsorship deal with Jobsite

Tue 21st Apr 2015 | Football Sponsorship

One of the most enduring partnerships in English football has been renewed as Pompey announce that Jobsite have signed a new three-year deal to be the club’s main partner.

The Havant-based online job board have been involved with the Blues as the main partner since 2009 – the last season Pompey were in the Premier League.

By the end of this three-year deal, Jobsite will have partnered with the club for nine seasons – one of the longest-running relationships in the Football League.

The new deal is of significant financial value and clearly demonstrates a strong commercial commitment to the partnership from both sides.

Jobsite will be investing in new stadium branding, which will give them fantastic brand exposure, as well as the enabling the club to improve the look of the stadium.

There will also be a range of new community-driven initiatives, working in partnership with both the club and Pompey in the Community.

Blues chief executive Mark Catlin said: “We are excited to be working with Jobsite for a further three years and we are looking forward to delivering a real return on investment for them.

“This deal demonstrates the true value that professional football delivers in terms of marketing and brand exposure for companies.

“Jobsite are a huge national brand who have themselves recently come under new ownership.

“For them to sign a deal as significant as this just demonstrates the strength of Pompey’s brand and stature, both within the local community and beyond.”

Nick Gold, Jobsite CEO, said: “We are delighted to continue our support of Portsmouth FC. Jobsite shares both its south coast location and its values with the club.

“Portsmouth FC play a pivotal role in our local community with its dedicated staff and thousands of loyal fans across the city. We plan to work more closely than ever on some great local initiatives.

“Jobsite firmly believes in Pompey’s future and we look forward to cheering them on to success during the 2015/16 football season.”
