fcbusiness Becomes Media Partner Of Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards

Fri 1st May 2015 | Football Industry Events

fcbusiness and Stadium Experience are delighted to announced a formal partnership for this year’s awards.

The deal will see fcbusiness as an official media partner of the 11th annual stadia awards organised by Stadium Experience which will be held this year on Thursday 4th June 2015 at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City Football Club.

The awards were founded in 2005 by members of Stadium Experience to recognise the very best UK football stadia venues. In 2014 the awards evolved to incorporate the UK’s rugby stadia in line with the growing membership to Stadium Experience.

The Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards recognise the fantastic commitment of the matchday hospitality and specialist event teams that work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Award categories include:

Media Choice Award

Directors Choice Award

Conference, Events Sales & Marketing Award

Chef Team of the Year Award

Star for the Future Award

Operations Team of the Year Award

Matchday Hospitality Award

Stadium Experience Chair Person Collette Salmon, from Liverpool Football Club, commented: “These awards recognise those dedicated teams who work tirelessly off the pitch at football and rugby stadia across the UK to make hospitality, conferences and events run seamlessly for their customers.

“We at Stadium Experience are proud to host the Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards and look forward to an even bigger and better 2015 awards evening.”

Speaking of the partnership, fcbusiness Deputy Editor, Aaron Gourley, said: “We are very proud to become media partner of this magnificent event once again. These awards celebrate the hard work and dedication of the many people working at stadia facilities across the UK.

“Hospitality is a hugely important part of a football club’s business employing thousands of people and it’s only right that they are recognised at such a prestigious awards ceremony.”

Debbie Rigney, Marketing & PR Manager, added: “The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards are a great way to celebrate the achievements of teams behind the scenes at football and rugby stadia across the UK.  We are thrilled to be working with fcbusiness for the 2015 awards.

“fcbusiness has a key role in assisting us with judging award categories, as well as presenting the prestigious Operations Team of the Year Award in front of over 300 guests during the gala evening at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.

“Look out for the full awards results, as well as pictures from the exclusive evening in fcbusiness this summer!”
