Northampton Town Make Chief Executive Appointment

Tue 12th May 2015 | Football Club Management

Northampton Town have announced the appointment of James Whiting as Chief Executive.

James makes the step up after serving previously as Company Secretary and Financial Director for the club.

"I am pleased to appoint James into this role," said Chairman David Cardoza.

"James has  been fulfilling the role unofficially for a while now and I believe the time is right to make that official."

“It is a great honour for me to officially take up the post of Chief Executive at the club," James added.

“I will be working extremely hard with the Chairman, the Board, Chris Wilder and all of the staff to ensure that we fulfil our huge potential as a club and I am excited about the future of Northampton Town."

James’s appointment follows that of Caroline Lucy as the club's new Commercial and Marketing Manager.
