Villa Keep Books In Check With QuickBooks Sponsorship

Tue 9th Jun 2015 | Football Sponsorship

Aston Villa have signed a major new sponsorship deal with Intuit Ltd., the makers of QuickBooks, the world’s number one accounting software for small businesses.

The deal kicks off with the 2015/2016 Barclays Premier League Season and will initially run for two years.

Intuit QuickBooks will become Aston Villa’s official principal sponsor, and both the home and away team shirts of Aston Villa will feature the QuickBooks logo.

“We’re thrilled to become the main sponsor of Aston Villa, a club that has enjoyed a rich history of success,” said Rich Preece, Vice President and Country Manager, Intuit UK.

“Aston Villa has huge growth ambitions which mirror our own. We’ve been incredibly impressed by the set-up here and see Aston Villa as the perfect club to help us grow the QuickBooks brand in the UK.”

“We are delighted to welcome Intuit QuickBooks as our principal sponsor. We are proud to have on our shirt next season a major US brand that has ambition to grow in Europe and Asia,” said Aston Villa Football Club Chief Commercial Officer, Charlie Wijeratna.

“I know the team here at Aston Villa will be working hard to combine the marketing capability of QuickBooks with the Aston Villa brand and the reach of the Premier League. We hope and expect it to be the start of a great relationship that will enhance both brands significantly.”

“There is an amazing community of business owners in the West Midlands area, many of whom are among Aston Villa’s incredibly passionate supporters,” added David Walsh, Director of Marketing and Small Business Sales, Intuit UK.

“With our mission to help small businesses succeed and grow, we look forward to continuing to getting to know the businesses in the area and providing the support we can.”
