Crystal Palace Appoints New Commercial Director

Mon 11th Jan 2016 | Football Sponsorship

Crystal Palace bolstered its commercial department with the appointment of Barry Webber as Commercial Director.

Webber joins the Premier League club from Stevenage FC where he was CEO since 2013.

Palace Chairman, Steve Parish, said: "We are delighted to have Barry on board as we continue to drive and maximise all commercial opportunities right across the business.

“Barry has experience of the Premier League at both Newcastle and West Ham and we will look to draw on that as we invest in the stadium and work to grow the clubs local and global appeal."

Barry Webber, speaking to the official site after his appointment, said: “I am very grateful to Steve and the Board for giving me the chance to be part of what is an extremely exciting time for Crystal Palace, on and off the pitch.

“Having watched the progress of the club over the last couple of years and seen the promise of what is to come, there is much to look forward to."
