Saints Foundation Becomes New Grassroots Awards Sponsor

Hampshire FA has entered into a 1 year partnership with Saints Foundation as the new sponsors of the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards.

Saints Foundation, the independent charity aligned to Southampton Football Club, harnesses the passion of the club and its to support and deliver positive change and equality of opportunity for young people and vulnerable adults across Southampton and surrounding areas.

Across all of their programmes, the Saints Foundation invests over £1.5 million into local communities within Southampton and the surrounding area.

The deal with the Saints Foundation will see them support the Hampshire FA’s Grassroots Football Awards, which recognises the unsung heroes and their achievements, performance, admirable dedication and services to the game, from all walks of life, going above and beyond in the name of football.

This year, the Grassroots Football Awards will take place at Southampton FC on Saturday 4th June 2016 in the Mike Channon Suite, which has been the home of the awards for the past three years.

Neil Cassar, Hampshire FA’s Chief Executive discussing the new partnership with Saints Foundation says: “We are grateful to our friends at the Saints Foundation for their support of the 2016 Grassroots Football Awards and look forward to working with them in the coming months in the build-up for the event in June”.

Head of the Saints Foundation, Greg Baker discussing the partnership with Hampshire FA, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Hampshire FA to sponsor the 2016 Grassroots Football Awards.

“Their fantastic work across the county allows people of all abilities to enjoy playing the beautiful game, and we are really pleased to be supporting them as the lead sponsor of one of their annual showpiece events.”
