NIFL Sponsorship Helps JBE Reach Their Goals

Thu 4th Feb 2016 | Football Sponsorship

Sponsorship of the Northern Ireland Football League has helped JBE achieve its goals for the season.

In August, JBE Mechanical Electrical teamed up with the NI Football League to announce their sponsorship for what was to become the JBE League Cup for the 2015/16 season with the result of this sponsorship culminating in the Final on 13 February when Ards face Ciftonville.

Managing Director John Blair’s major aim was to increase the visibility of JBE in the marketplace and develop the company’s brand association within local sport.

Speaking of the partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL), John, loyal Ballymena United supporter said: “I have been involved in local football for a number of years through my support and sponsorship of Ballymena United but when I was given the chance to become title sponsor of the NIFL League Cup I just felt it was too good an opportunity for the company to turn down.

“The level of coverage the competition has generated for JBE has far exceeded what I was expecting and with the Final to come in February the awareness of the sponsorship will only increase even further.

“We have received over £200,000 worth of coverage in both the written and broadcast media which has been fantastic as we look to continue to expand and grow in the local market.”

NIFL Managing Director, Andrew Johnston, added: “The JBE League Cup is the Northern Ireland Football League’s top knockout competition and having significant investment from JBE has been integral to allowing the NIFL to thrive in its 125th season.”
