The 2016 Nike Academy Cup At St George's Park

The Nike Academy is Nike’s full-time professional-level training programme, based at St George’s Park.

The programme aims to develop players to become the best they can be through elite-level coaching, product, experiences and facilities. 

The Nike Academy Cup is The Nike Academy’s annual U19s tournament, whereby the squad pit themselves against some of the world’s best teams, who travel from across the globe to compete.

This year, The Nike Academy is joined at St George’s Park by:

 

  • Hertha Berlin (Reining Champions)
  • Corinthians
  • Galatasaray
  • AS Monaco
  • Club Brugge 

 

Scouts from clubs across the country will be in attendance to observe the talent on display as The Nike Academy squad test themselves against some of the world’s finest football players.

April 5th-9th

St George’s Park, England 

THE NIKE ACADEMY CUP 2016 SCHEDULE

Wednesday 6th April

11am: Nike Academy v Galatasaray U19

2pm: Hertha Berlin U19 v AS Monaco U19

 

Thursday 7th April

11am: Galatasaray U19 v Corinthians U19

2pm: AS Monaco U19 v Club Brugge U19

 

Friday 8th April

11am: Corinthians U19 v Nike Academy 

2pm: Club Brugge U19 v Hertha Berlin U19

 

Saturday 9th April

10am: 5th & 6th place playoff

10am: 3rd & 4th place playoff

12pm: Final
