Tebas and Raul To Lead LaLiga Delegation At Soccerex Americas Forum

Mon 25th Apr 2016 | Football Industry Events

LaLiga President, Javier Tebas, and Country Manager for United States and former Real Madrid striker, Raul Gonzalez, will lead a significant LaLiga presence at the Soccerex Americas Forum, taking place at the Camino Real Polanco Hotel, Mexico City, 11th-12th May.

The league are institutional supporters for the event and will be sponsoring the forum's VIP Lounge as well as participating in a series of panels and discussions.

President Tebas will be discussing the league's growth alongside MLS Commissioner Don Garber, Liga MX President Enrique Bonilla and founding member of the Premier League, David Dein, whilst Raul will be doing an exclusive 1-2-1 interview on the opening morning of the forum.

Also speaking at the Forum will be LaLiga General Director for MENA and International Projects, Fernando Sanz, who will be outlining the league's strategic approach to broadening their international audience, and the league's Managing Director, Sales and Marketing, Adolfo Bara, who will be unveiling their plans for marketing their global sponsorship rights.

Commenting on LaLiga's participation at the forum, Soccerex CEO Duncan Revie said: "I am immensely priveleged and excited to welcome such an extensive and senior delegation from LaLiga to this year's Soccerex Americas Forum.

"To have one of the greatest leagues in the world as our institutional supporters and presenting on multiple levels at the event, is an honour and will undoubtedly provide excellent value for our delegates."

LaLiga's involvement is part of a star studded programme that contains high profile figures such as Alexei Sorokin, Gerard Houllier, Brad Friedel, Gaizka Mendieta - Liga BBVA Embassador -, Davor Suker, Carlos Martinez, Jorge Valdano, and Carlos Alberto Torres alongside industry experts from organisations like Inter Milan, MLS, Movistar and Fox Sports.

The Forum also provides a series of structured and informal networking opportunities centred around an exhibition, featuring over 40 companies, where suppliers showcasing a variety of services, ranging from stadia development and ticketing to new media services and sports technology, will rub shoulders with rights holders like Liga MX, Rosario Central and Grupo Pachuca.

Complementing these activities will be a number of social events running throughout the event days and evenings, to facilitate further networking and relationship building with key decision makers.
